Our Story

About Us

Vancillary began with our own Sprinter van conversion, at a time when little information existed online and custom parts were few and far between. Necessity led to creativity, and our first headliner shelf which we now make for van enthusiasts around the globe.

Six years later, we are gathering feedback from customers, iterating on design, and testing new product ideas in our backyard of the North West Selkirk mountains. 

We aren't your typical business - and we hope it shows. Vancillary is a husband and wife team and we bring our ideas to life with the help of US-based manufacturers and suppliers. We’ve chosen to do a few things, and do them well. 

We love being able to provide quality information and products to people and share in the excitement of their van build. We aim to be more than just a storefront by providing resources and having an honest conversation about all things van life (check out the Journal).
